Baseball Hall Of Fame

Two significant historical events occurred on the auspicious day of July 27, 2025.  Five players entered the hallowed halls of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and a Black man became the first African American driver to win the Indy 400 auto race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Football may have passed baseball as the number one viewing sport in this country, but it cannot overtake the grand old game in historical longevity, complexity and the majestic quality of its greatest stars.

Major League Baseball inducted four new members to its Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York, on July 21.
