Montserrat College of Art is streaming a series of temporal, digital experiences Nov. 16–21 as part of the screen art series “Still Here.” A continuation of its “Here” series performed over the summer, “Still Here” explores the isolation of quarantine and the experiences of community and social justice in a time when people are separated.

The Strand Theatre in Dorchester and Company One Theatre host the world premiere of Josh Wilder’s play “Leftovers” through August 18. The play follows brothers Jalil and Kwamaine who struggle to reconcile their dreams with their reality as black men in South Philly.

The mesmerizing and beautifully-crafted show easily accomplishes this goal and then some. Described as a “waking dream of Mexico,” Luzia was written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca who lived, worked and traveled in the country for more than 10 years.
