During the summer, Bostonians take advantage of every opportunity to be outdoors, especially when it means a party. Outdoor dance parties around the city celebrate local artists, global dance styles and music ranging from R&B and salsa beats to old-school dance classics.
The core of this list is a series of three, free dance parties at City Hall Plaza.
“Highlighting the cultural richness of every corner of the city, we’re creating spaces where joy, movement, and community thrive,” said John Borders IV, director of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment for the City of Boston. “Our goal is to ensure all residents and visitors feel the heartbeat of Boston — lively, inclusive and unforgettable.”
Whether you want to show off your hip-shaking expertise or you’re looking to learn new steps, there’s a dance party for everyone this summer.
